esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.
Ultimate Armor Unleashed! Now X Ultimate Armor Version action figure joins in Hiyatoys EXQUISITE BASIC Series.
Since its debut in 1993, Mega Man X has become an unforgettable classic in the hearts of countless players. As a Hunter unit capable of independent thought, X fights on the front line against powerful threats. The Ultimate Armor is X's hidden strongest form, combining the strengths of past armors and powered by an ultimate energy core that unleashes the all-piercing finishing move, Nova Strike.
This new EXQUISITE BASIC Series X Ultimate Armor Version Action Figure stands 15.5CM tall, faithfully bringing this legendary armor to life based on the original design. The purple-black body pairs with gold trim and blue armor, while energy crystals on top highlight the power of ultimate form.
The figure supports two-form switching with two wings sets, allowing you to easily recreate multiple classic looks. In normal form, mount wings with a firing effect part to recreate X's close-range attack pose. In Nova Strike form, attach Nova Strike Wing Unit with dedicated components to recreate the instant X bursts forward at high speed.
Accessories include 3x interchangeable faces, along with 3x pairs of interchangeable hand parts and X-Buster effect parts. A separate HIYA LOGO badge features a built-in magnetic control switch that interacts with the cannon muzzle—bringing the badge close activates three lighting modes (Flash, Breathing, and Steady), recreating the charging effect of the Ultimate Armor's energy cannon. With magnetic soles, X can securely adhere to metal surfaces, posed and ready to leap into action. - Pictures for reference only, specific products in kind prevail. (immagine)

Chris Claremont’s epic run takes its next evolutionary step — with the blockbuster artwork of Marc Silvestri!COLLECTING: Uncanny X-Men (1981) #220-234, X-Men Annual (1970) #11-12, Best of Marvel Comics (1987)Written by: Chris Claremont & Tom Defalco Penciled by: Marc Silvestri, Kerry Gammill, Rick Leonardi, Alan Davis, Arthur Adams & Marshall Rogers

Industry legend Chris Claremont is best known for his epic sixteen-year run on Uncanny X-Men. Claremont’s focus on the themes of prejudice and tolerance struck at the hearts of comics fans, and he built an unparalleled following during the next three decades. Under his pen, the X-Men franchise spawned a vast array of spin-offs, many of them written by Claremont himself. His other credits include Iron Fist, Ms. Marvel, Power Man and Spider-Woman. Claremont has returned to the X-Men universe in New Exiles, GeNext, X-Men Forever, Chaos War: X-Men and Nightcrawler.Tom DeFalco’s earliest comic-book scripts were for Archie and DC; he soon moved to Marvel, where he wrote Avengers, Machine Man and other titles, also launching Dazzler, a hit series of the early ’80s. In addition to writing long and well-received runs on Amazing Spider-Man and Thor, DeFalco edited many titles, eventually becoming editor in chief. During the 1980s, he headed the creative team that provided fictional biographies for G.I. Joe members, originally included with Hasbro’s toys and later used as the basis for multiple storylines on the animated series. Perhaps his best-known work is multi-title character Spider-Girl, whom he introduced in 1998. DeFalco has authored multiple books, including Ultimate Guides for Avengers, Fantastic Four, Hulk and Spider-Man.Industry giant Marc Silvestri entered the upper echelon of comics innovators in the late ’80s during fan-favorite, record-breaking runs on Uncanny X-Men and Wolverine. Silvestri left Marvel in 1992 to co-found Image Comics; his imprint, Top Cow, is one of its four longstanding autonomous studios. At Image, Silvestri created some of today’s most popular properties — including Cyberforce, Witchblade, Weapon Zero and The Darkness. Silvestri has returned to the world of Marvel’s mutants on New X-Men and X-Men: Messiah Complex.Kerry Gammill has illustrated Fantastic Four and Power Man and Iron Fist for Marvel, and DC’s Superman. In Marvel Team-Up, he and J.M. DeMatteis introduced Frog-Man and the White Rabbit, and he penciled Louise Simonson’s scripts on Fallen Angels. Moving to the film industry, Gammill served as a special-effects artist, character designer and storyboard artist on such projects as Species II and Tremors: The Series. He also became one of the guiding minds behind Monster Kid Magazine, a publication focusing on classic monster movies of another era.Three different incarnations of Cloak and Dagger were only a few of Rick Leonardi’s artistic achievements for Marvel. His other credits include Uncanny X-Men, New Mutants and Spider-Man 2099. At DC, he drew Batman family titles Batgirl and Nightwing, as well as comic/film crossover Green Lantern vs. Aliens. At Event Comics, he penciled Painkiller Jane. The career of British-born artist Alan Davis took off like a rocket after his humble beginnings at Marvel UK, where he impressed with an acclaimed run on Captain Britain. Davis broke into U.S. comics with runs on Batman and the Outsiders and Detective Comics. Hired by Marvel U.S. in 1986, Davis launched Excalibur with Chris Claremont, and the book quickly became one of mutantdom’s most unique and humorous titles. When Davis took over as writer, he continued many plot threads from his Captain Britain run. After a lengthy arc writing and drawing X-Men, Davis illustrated writer Brian Michael Bendis’ Avengers Prime and contributed to the status-quo-changing X-Men: Schism.Since his beginnings with Ann Nocenti in Longshot (which earned him a Russ Manning Award), Arthur Adams has most often displayed his distinctive and detail-intensive art in miniseries or one-shots (including several Uncanny X-Men Annuals) — along with brief but memorable stints on Fantastic Four, X-Factor and other titles. He co-created “Jonni Future†for Alan Moore’s Tom Strong’s Terrific Tales, and Dark Horse Comics has published his creator-owned Monkeyman and O’Brien. Renowned for cover art at Marvel, DC and elsewhere, Adams has also illustrated trading cards, posters and shirts, among other products; his art can be found in toy design, film advertisements and a series of X-Men-themed Campbell Soup labels. Jeph Loeb’s Hulk series featured a string of issues in which Adams provided interior art.Marshall Rogers (1950-2007) provided pencils for Deadly Hands of Kung Fu, Doctor Strange, G.I. Joe and Silver Surfer. His best-known non-Marvel work is an acclaimed run, with writer Steve Englehart, on Detective Comics and other Batman titles; when a Batman newspaper comic strip debuted in 1989, Rogers was chosen as the strip’s artist.

Rated T+
One of the most original and widely respected writers in comics, Glasgow-born Grant Morrison got their start with British indie comics during the late 1970s and early 1980s before working on Marvel UK features such as Zoids. After co-creating the popular strip Zenith with artist Steve Yeowell in 2000 AD, Morrison made their mark in America with DC Comics, where they revived an obscure hero to critical acclaim in his Animal Man series. In 1989, they wrote the best-selling Batman graphic novel Arkham Asylum and began a memorably surreal run as writer of the freakish heroes of DC’s Doom Patrol. Subsequent DC projects included Kid Eternity, Sebastian O, Flex Mentallo, Kill Your Boyfriend, Aztek, Invisibles, DC One Million, Flash and a hugely popular revamping of DC’s JLA. Morrison then shifted focus to Marvel Comics, where they had already made a brief pit-stop co-writing 1995’s bizarre Skrull Kill Krew with Mark Millar. In addition to their groundbreaking four-year New X-Men run, Morrison’s Marvel credits include Fantastic Four: 1234 and Marvel Boy. They have since returned to DC, where their later credits include Seaguy, WE3, Vimanarama, JLA: Classified and Seven Soldiers. While serving as a special creative consultant to DC editorial, Morrison wrote All-Star Superman, and the flagship Batman title and its spinoff Batman Inc.; co-wrote the event series 52; and served as the mastermind behind Final Crisis.Glasgow-born comics artist Frank Quitely has a long history of collaboration with fellow countryman Grant Morrison, often to considerable critical acclaim. After working with various British publishers, Paradox Press and Dark Horse Comics, Quitely got his big break as artist on Morrison’s Flex Mentallo mini-series for DC Comics in 1996. Quitely later teamed with Morrison again for the JLA: Earth 2 graphic novel, New X-Men, an Invisibles story, the cyber-animal saga We3 and the All-Star Superman series. Quitely’s other DC credits include The Authority and Sandman: Endless Nights; his additional Marvel work includes Daredevil and Captain America: Red, White and Blue. Cyberfrog creator Ethan Van Sciver drew DC’s Impulse series for some time and other DC projects featuring characters such as the Justice League and the Flash, in addition to recent work on Green Lantern: Rebirth and Superman/Batman. Marvel features he has drawn include Weapon X, New X-Men and Wolverine. He is currently working on the third part of the Green Lantern trilogy, “The Blackest Nightâ€, due to come out in 2009.Croatian-born illustrator Igor Kordey has earned a reputation for his prolific output, working on as many as three or four monthly books at the same time. His Marvel work includes Black Widow: Pale Little Spider, Captain America, Conspiracy, Soldier X, Tales of the Marvels: Wonder Years, New X-Men, and extended runs on X-Treme X-Men and Cable. Kordey united with his compatriot Darko Macan on Tarzan projects for Dark Horse Comics.

by (W) Anthony Bourdain; Joel Rose (A) Alberto Ponticelli; Irene Koh; Paul Pope
Hungry Ghosts is cooked up by the best selling author and veteran chef, Anthony Bourdain (Kitchen Confidential, Emmy-Award winning TV star of Parts Unknown) and acclaimed novelist Joel Rose (Kill, Kill, Faster, Faster) back again from their New York Times #1 best seller, Get Jiro!. Featuring all-new original recipes prepared by Bourdain, plus a yellow ribbon bookmark , and a guide to the ghostly legendary spirits behind these horrifying tales. This horror anthology is sure to please--and scare! On a dark, haunted night, a Russian Oligarch dares a circle of international chefs to play the samurai game of 100 Candles--where each storyteller tells a terrifying tale of ghosts, demons and unspeakable beings--and prays to survive the challenge. Inspired by the Japanese Edo period game of Hyakumonogatari Kaidankai, Hungry Ghosts reimagines the classic stories of yokai, yorei, and obake, all tainted with the common thread of food.Including stellar artists Sebastian Cabrol, Vanesa Del Rey, Francesco Francavilla, Irene Koh, Leo Manco, Alberto Ponticelli, Paul Pope, and Mateus Santolouco as well as amazing color by Jose Villarrubia, a drop-dead cover by Paul Pope."A gorgeous, haunting, at times gruesome saga that draws from the Japanese mythologies yokai, yorei, and obake, and mixes terrifying suspense with fascinating culinary intrigue, Hungry Ghosts cements an underrated literary legacy of Bourdain. " Entertainment Weekly "The expanded version of Anthony Bourdain's Hungry Ghosts . . . reimagines the Japanese tradition of Hyakumonogatari Kaidankai with a particularly spooky twist, as a group of chefs tell a series of stories linked by the common themes of the supernatural and food, each illustrated by artists like Vanesa Del Rey, Francesco Francavilla and Paul Pope. Of course, like all good ghost stories, there's a twist in the tale." --The Hollywood Reporter[Bourdain's] "final graphic novel, Hungry Ghosts, melds food, competition, and -- of course -- spooky specters with the culture-hopping human interest that Bourdain made his calling card." -- SYFY "A series of gastronomic ghost stories that bring together ... [Bourdain's] love of food, Japanese culture and old-school horror comics, plus some new recipes... An all-star roster of illustrators, from alt-comics legend Paul Pope to "The Legend of Korra" artist Irene Koh, to bring each spooky tale to life." --New York Post"The book is a thing of beauty, but the stories are filled with images of death and destruction. Knives and axes feature prominently. Decapitation and amputation abound. Eating but also being eaten. These are horror stories with recipes." --The Independent UK"Structured as an old-fashioned Tales from the Crypt-style horror anthology, complete with a frame story and ghoulish host, the twist ... is that these offerings are all food-themed--and all variations on yarns from Kwaidan, Lafcadio Hearn's collection of traditional Japanese ghost lore. ..... Each piece is drawn by a different artist, including such comics luminaries as Vanesa Del Rey, Francesco Francavilla, and Paul Pope." -- Publishers Weekly"Delicious." -- Previews World"An off-beat and very interesting read ....
