A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! The popular Japanese manga series One-Shot Bug Killer!! depicts a world in which insects have become immune to ordinary extermination. In response, two competing companies creates tiny bug-killing robots, in the form of cute girls of course. The heroine of the story is INTERCEPTOR DOLL HOIHOI-SAN, and Kotobukiya is proud to bring her to you in the company's first ever 1:1 scale model kit! Created by Maazu Pharmaceuticals, this Interceptor Doll is the third version of their popular Hoi Hoi-San robots. Just like in the series, the pretty little lady stands 4 inches tall (1/1-scale!). She wears a cute maid's outfit in black and white, with matching slippers and bunny ears. Her clothing has many important details, including small black bowties at her neck and ankles, a large white bow on her back, and her model designation 'HOIHOI-SAN ID-3' on her apron. Sculpted by Masatoshi Aoki, Hoi Hoi-San is comprised of approximately 100 pieces, and can be painted in any way you like! Only her eyes and eyebrows are pre-painted, so customizers will really love this model kit. She has 25 points of articulation for excellent posturing, and comes with two sets of hands, a broom, katana, gun, and removable bunny ears. The popular Hoi Hoi-san Interceptor Doll from Maazu Pharmaceuticals has already gone through three versions, and this new model is armed like never before. While she is the same size, 4 inches tall in 1:1 scale, and wears her traditional cute maid's outfit (with matching slippers and bunny ears), it's her armament and disposition that define her. The 'Change of Costume' set includes two different, interchangeable bodies - 'Gym Uniform' and 'School Swimsuit.' The gym outfit is complete down to the wristbands, tennis shoes, and socks, while even the swimsuit is authentic with the robot's chest logo. These never-before-seen robots are based on a core concept: ever unit will have a basic robot skeleton, or 'Frame,' which is highly articulated and covered in universal 3mm attachment points. Incredible armor pieces and weapons will differentiate each robot, while all parts are fully interchangeable between all units. The Frame Arms multi assemble mechanical units are even compatible with Koto's M.S.G. (Modeling Support Goods) series of support units, opening up a huge amount of easy customization! In 2019, under the auspices of the international military alliance NAOTIA (North Atlantic Ocean Tactics Evolution Aggregate), the United States armed forces unveiled the 'Human Type Multi Purpose Standard Frame Drive,' a universal robot body that each allied country could develop with various external weapons and armor. One of the most popular characters from that series is now the first in Kotobukiya's new series of bishoujo figures that celebrate the classic character types in Japanese manga and anime, the 'Legend Girls.' KAHO is the definition of the 'imouto-kei' or sister type, an archetype seen in many Japanese stories. Clumsy and cheerful, the pretty cheerleader is known for addressing her brother as 'Onii-chama.' Originally released as a garage kit in 2003, the legendary character is back and better than ever with coloring true to the anime series. Kaho wears her brightly colored school uniform, standing poised on the toes of her right foot. Blown by soft wind, the pretty girl's patterned skirt and brown silky hair flow naturally. The checkered skirt was the biggest hassle for painters of the garage kit, but no more! The detail work on Kaho is excellent, from her pretty face down to the laces on her tennis shoes and the intricate paint work on her skirt.
