Gerry Duggan has become one of Marvelâ€™s most influential writers, having first made an impression at the House of Ideas with a lengthy and always surprising Deadpool run alongside his frequent writing partner, Brian Posehn. Among Dugganâ€™s solo credits are Nova, Hulk and multiple tie-ins to the Secret Wars event. He added Deadpool to the revamped roster of Uncanny Avengers and brought his unique blend of action and humor to All-New Guardians of the Galaxy, leading up to the cosmic event series Infinity Wars. Marauders and Cable established him as a vital part of the storytelling team for the Dawn of X era, a role he has cemented further by launching the blockbuster new X-Men title. Dugganâ€™s earlier collaboration with artist Phil Noto â€” The Infinite Horizon, a reimagining of Homerâ€™s The Odyssey in a dystopian future â€” earned an Eisner Award nomination for Best New Series.Growing up in England, Mark Buckingham always dreamed of drawing comics. In 1987, he inked the best-selling Death: The High Cost of Living by Neil Gaiman and Chris Bachalo. He went on to contribute to The Sandman, Hellblazer and Shade the Changing Man. Since his start on the New Universeâ€™s Psi-Force and backup stories in Classic X-Men, Fabian Nicieza has written most of Marvelâ€™s major super-teams â€” including Alpha Flight, the Avengers, the New Warriors, the Thunderbolts and the X-Men. Together with artist Rob Liefeld, Nicieza transformed New Mutants into the blockbuster X-Force. The writer also tackled solo heroes ranging from Cable and Deadpool (later combined in Cable & Deadpool) to Gambit and Nomad. He edited Marvelâ€™s Star imprint, contributed to multititle X-events like â€œX-Cutionerâ€™s Songâ€ and â€œPhalanx Covenant,â€ and wrote various â€œpre-modernâ€ limited series such as Adventures of Captain America and Citizen V and the V-Battalion. Elsewhere, he has written both JLA and Justice League Adventures, The 99, Turok, X-Files, and others.Jeph Loeb is an Emmy Award-nominated and Eisner Award-winning writer/producer. In television, his many credits include Marvelâ€™s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Heroes, Lost and Smallville; and in film, Teen Wolf and Commando. He has written nearly every major comics icon, including the Avengers, Hulk, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Captain America, Batman and Superman. Following the completion of writer Mark Millarâ€™s Marvel Knights Spider-Man, Dodson again collaborated with Millar on the EA video game Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects. Following runs on Uncanny X-Men and Defenders with writer Matt Fraction, Dodson remains one of the most popular artists in the field, a status he attributes in large part to the contributions of his wife, Rachel, who adds her talented inking to much of Terryâ€™s work.
