esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.

(W) Eddie Campbell (A) Daren White The Playwright enjoys a quiet moment in the local park where he can mentally sort his ideas and is often frequented by young ladies. Once he saw a pigeon defecate onto a businessman's shoulder; it struck him as absurd that such an event is considered lucky. Surely the luck lies with passers-by who, statistically, are far less likely to be similarly soiled at that precise moment. Similarly, the Playwright derived an almost perverse sense of relief upon receiving news that an old friend has developed prostate cancer. Statistically, he reasons, such news significantly reduces the chances of him being similarly afflicted. And to be honest, at his age, his prostate needs all the statistical support he can muster. The Playwright: a dark comedy about the sex life of a celibate middle-aged man. Co-Published by Top Shelf Productions and Knockabout. (immagine) Categoria: Books: graphic novels

From The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and continuing in the thrilling tradition of Heart of Ice, Alan Moore and Kevin O'Neill rampage through twentieth-century culture in a blazing new adventure. It's now 1941, and with her daughter strategically married into the family of aerial warlord Jean Robur, Janni's raiders have only limited contact with the military might of the clownish German-Tomanian dictator Adenoid Hynkel. But when the pirate queen learns that her loved ones are held hostage in the nightmarish Berlin, she has no choice save to intervene directly, travelling with her ageing lover Broad Arrow Jack into the belly of the beastly metropolis. Within that alienated city await monsters, criminals and legends, including the remaining vestiges of Germany's notorious 'Twilight Heroes', a dark Teutonic counterpart to Mina Murray's League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. And waiting at the far end of this gauntlet of alarming adversaries there is something much, much worse. Co-Published by Top Shelf Productions & Knockabout (immagine) Categoria: Books: graphic novels

Nearly sixty years after its creation, a little-known landmark of comic book history returns! This 16-page comic is a simple but revolutionary account of the 1955 Montgomery Bus Boycott, in which Rosa Parks, Dr. King, and 50,000 others used the power of nonviolence to battle segregation on city buses - and win. First published in December 1957 by the Fellowship of Reconciliation, it went unnoticed by the mainstream comic book industry but spread like wildfire among civil rights groups, churches, and schools, helping to mobilize a generation to join the global fight for equality - nonviolently. Personally endorsed by Martin Luther King, Jr. himself, over time this comic book has reached beyond his time and place to inspire activists in Latin America, South Africa, Vietnam, Egypt, and beyond... as well as inspiring March, the new graphic novel trilogy by Congressman John Lewis, Andrew Aydin, and Nate Powell. This new fully-authorized reprint edition is published by the Fellowship of Reconciliation in partnership with Top Shelf Productions. All proceeds go to F.O.R.'s work promoting nonviolence around the world. (immagine) Categoria: Comics

by Jeffrey Brown & James Kochalka In this issue, James Kochalka goes up against rising indy-comics star, Jeffrey Brown. The two cartoonists draw together, exchanging pages back and forth, and trade metaphorical jabs in a discussion that quickly devolves into an argument, which quickly devolves into a brawl about art and comics and the role such things play in our lives. Discussing art and life has never been more action-packed, or funnier! (immagine) Categoria: Comics

(W/A) Various Twelve modern European cartoonists gathered 'objects of inspiration' from each others' homelands (such as architectural styles, animal species, car models, traditional folk products, and mythological beings). Then each artist created a comic story set in their chosen country. What emerged is a completely new, trans-national entity. (immagine) Categoria: Books: graphic novels
