esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.

(W/A) Nick Bertozzi In 1804, Meriwether Lewis and William Clark set out on one of the greatest adventures this nation has ever known. Their mission was to follow the Missouri river from Pittsburgh all the way west to the Pacific Ocean. Appointed and funded by President Jefferson himself, well-staffed, lavishly equipped, and led by a cadre of experts (including the famous Sacajawea), the expedition was considered a success almost before it had begun. There was only one problem: Everything. (immagine) Categoria: Books: graphic novels

An illuminating graphic novel biography of one of American history's bravest heroes. Harriet Tubman did something exceptionally courageous: She escaped slavery. Then she did something impossible: She went back. She underwent some thirteen missions to rescue around seventy enslaved people, using and expanding a network of abolitionists that became known as the Underground Railroad. She spent her life as an activist, speaking out for Black people and women's suffrage. This modern account of her trip to save her brothers is detailed and authentic. Illustrated with care for the historical record, it offers insight into the life and mind of Tubman, displaying her as a woman with an unshakable desire to break the chains of an unjust society. It is a perfect anti-racist narrative for our times and leaves one with an understanding of just what freedom means to those who must fight for it. (immagine) Categoria: Books: graphic novels

From Brian McDonald, storyteller extraordinaire, comes a remarkable non-fiction graphic novel about the art of storytelling. There is wisdom in the land of the dead, for it is the place that all stories lay to rest. And what is a story, if not a simulation of survival? Wielding his massive experience from film, tv, comics, and more, Brian McDonald lays out a history of storytelling and shows the reader how the best tales tug at our truest biological instinct: the need to survive. Readers will see how different forms of survival-physical, emotional, spiritual-inform the arc of character development in a way that makes them more complex and compelling. And how plot and circumstance must then force your protagonist to meet their worst nightmare. Toby Cypress's electric art guides the reader through the underworld, visualizing each narrative masterpiece, and bringing the ideas to life. Whether you're in film, books, comics, or simply a story enthusiast, this book offers a way to see character development and the crafting of plot through the lens of human questions of morality and mortality.
