esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.
In The Cloven: Book Three, our hero, Tuck, the most successful Cloven ever created, is discovered frozen solid in a mountain river. Reanimated by the medicinal mushrooms of The Healer, a legendary member of the Feral Herd of Cloven, Tuck easily integrates with his half-brothers and sisters with the help of Willie, a human “stray” who lives with the Herd. Tuck finds himself on the verge of taking over the Herd and leading them out of the shadows of the mountain mines and into daylight, until he sees a People magazine cover in a mini mart with a photo of a very pregnant Stella Goff, and a headline: “But Who’s the Daddy?” Tuck knows all too well who’s the daddy, and he now must leave his Feral friends to track down the daughter of the richest man in the world…Moody and mysterious and atmospheric as a fever dream, The Cloven is a raucous, funny, and dynamic sci-fi graphic novel series about James "Tuck" Tucker, a genetically modified human organism known as a Cloven, written by Garth Stein (The Art of Racing in the Rain) and drawn by Matthew Southworth (co-creator of the graphic novel series Stumptown), two of today's bestselling and critically acclaimed storytellers. Riad is a teenager growing up in the French region of Brittany, where he lives with his mother and brother and attends high school in Rennes. But his adolescence is anything but typical. Born to a Syrian father and a French mother, Riad spent much of his early childhood in Libya, rural Syria, and France—moving through contrasting worlds, political ideologies, and daily absurdities. Years earlier, his father—charismatic, authoritarian, and obsessed with dictators and with building a utopian Arab society—abducted Riad’s second younger brother, Fadi, and returned to Syria, leaving behind a fractured family. At 14, Riad navigates puberty, isolation, and the pressures of French society, while haunted by the absence of his father and brother, and the sadness of his mother. He turns to books, heavy metal, and drawing as refuge. The tone is darkly comic and sharply observant, capturing both the universal pains of adolescence and the surreal contradictions of the 1990s. Blending personal story and social commentary, this standalone volume offers a biting, poignant portrait of a young man coming of age in a world that feels both familiar and foreign. The End of the Arab of the Future is the first book in a two-volume series that concludes the critically acclaimed autobiographical graphic novel begun in Arab of the Future. Drawn from the first five issues of Gilbert Hernandez's comic book series Blubber, an absurdly X-rated showcase for the most surreally transgressive of Hernandez's short stories, weirdos (Blubberoo, Mr. Elvis, John Dick, the Mentor), creatures (the Mau Guag, Doogs, and Orlats…), and anthropomorphs (the Cloarks, the Kekeppy) visit places where most comics fear to go. Blubber veers between an absurdist satire of porn (and occasionally nature documentaries) and a celebration of unbridled hedonism, serving as a defiant provocation to those unable to appreciate the difference between cartooning and obscenity. As R. Crumb said, "It's only lines on paper, folks!" It is also a howlingly funny book, filled with a rogues gallery of colorful comic book monsters (the Pollum, the Junipero Molestat, the mythical Forest Nimmy) and characters (T.A.C. Man, Mr. Hippy, Padre Puto, the Snowman, Baron Mungo, Red Tempest) that echoes the sheer visual imagination of Jack Kirby. (immagine) Categoria: Books: graphic novels

In 1958, established Argentine comics creators Héctor Germán Oesterheld and Alberto Breccia worked together on their first significant series. In Sherlock Time, retiree Julio Luna buys a beautiful home for much too good a deal. There have been strange disappearances, but the trap is far stranger than a simple haunting in San Isidro. Fortunately for Luna, a mysterious man saves him in the nick of … Sherlock Time! The two team up, outwitting aliens, solving seemingly-supernatural crimes, and investigating cursed objects. These episodic adventures, ranging from SF to horror to mystery, ran concurrently with Oesterheld's legendary comics serial The Eternaut, and set the stage for their masterpiece, Mort Cinder. Of Sherlock Time, Argentine author Juan Sasturain (who also wrote Perramus, which Breccia would go on to draw) concluded: "rarely has a story made us so fully happy." (immagine)

Ambar and Alana, aka the superhero duo Santos Sisters, are back! And now, with an Eisner Award under their collective belt in addition to being imbued with the powers of the goddess Madame Sosostris, they’re even better prepared for whatever comes their way! Whether it be foiling disastrous plots to take down the local power grid, rescuing boyfriends from jealous supervillains, saving senior citizens from drug addiction, or battling the duo’s ever-expanding rogue’s gallery of supervillainery, Amber and Alana always bring the comic book fun in this healthy conflation of four-color nostalgia, action, and laughs! Vol. 2 of Santos Sisters brings back fan-favorite foils such as Bridgette Spinner, 8-Ball, Alacran, and mean and mad Monroe, while also introducing even more abhorrent antagonists, including: the fishy Blue Agua and her Manzanillo Assassins; the punctual — and punitive —10 O’Clock; the mysteriously dead-eyed Sergeant Murder and Agent Exeyex; and the rapaciously avaricious Billy Bitcoin! Also: Jackie Stalegum, Phantom of the Cardboard! The Numismatist! Gary Antzman! The Nature Ninjas! The Boozy Bees! Through it all, Ambar & Alana strive to maintain a healthy work/life balance, while their creators, Greg & Fake, continue their mission to revive unabashed comic book fun with this ebullient and exuberant hit indie series!
