esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.

Collects Punisher (1987) #85-88, Punisher War Journal (1987) #61-64, Punisher War Zone (1992) #23-25. Frank Castle stars in an explosive epic so big it took three titles to contain it! When the Punisher undertakes his most extravagant hit of all - collapsing an entire skyscraper on a group of crime bosses - he ends up presumed dead himself! A vigilante vacuum is created on the streets, and a number of psychopathic killers lay claim to the Punisher's crown - and iconic chest symbol! Take your pick from the skull-masked Hitman, jaded cop Lynn Michaels, postal worker Desmond Kline, media-savvy author Dean Swaybrick or British Frank-ophile Outlaw! Bullets fly as the pretenders take on criminals and each other, learning the hard way that to step into Castle's shoes is virtual suicide... But in all the chaos, will the one true Punisher make his return?
Rated T+
Steven Grant has written Captain America, Incredible Hulk, Master of Kung Fu, Spidey Super Stories and more. In 1985, he penned the first Punisher miniseries, revisiting the character in several Holiday Special stories and the graphic novel Return to Big Nothing. Grant has also written First Comics’ American Flagg, Shatter and his creator-owned Whisper.Chuck Dixon wrote several limited series for Marvel’s Epic imprint, the long-running ’Nam series and multiple Punisher titles. When he set the Punisher against DC’s grimmest character in the one-shot Punisher/Batman, Dixon set the stage for his writing tenure on virtually every Batman-related title: Batgirl, Detective Comics, GCPD, Nightwing, Robin and more. Dixon’s other Marvel work includes What If?, Marvel Knights and Hawkeye.Writer/artist Larry Hama got his start as a penciler before becoming a respected editor and later a writer during the ’80s with his career-defining work on G.I. Joe and a memorable run on Wolverine. Through the years, Hama proved his versatility writing Avengers, Blaze, Elektra, Generation X, The Punisher: War Zone and multiple Venom miniseries. When Devil’s Due, IDW and Image Comics in turn obtained the G.I. Joe license, Hama revisited his iconic Marvel run, continuing where he had left off years earlier and bringing the series to — and past — a record-breaking three hundred issues. At Continuity Comics, he created Bucky O’Hare, launching a franchise that extended to animation, video games and a toy line. Hama recently revisited his era helming the adventures of Logan with the Wolverine: Patch limited series.Gary Kwapisz tackled two of the most lethal characters in comic books, drawing Frank Castle’s relentless crusade in Punisher: War Journa, and illustrating the escapades of the legendary Cimmerian in both Conan the Barbarian and Savage Sword of Conan.John Buscema (1927-2002) literally wrote the book on being a Marvel artist — namely, How To Draw Comics the Marvel Way — and few were better qualified. His career dated back to the Timely/Atlas era of the late ’40s and early ’50s. Soon after beginning the Marvel Age of Comics, Stan Lee recruited Buscema from the advertising field to the Marvel Bullpen. Buscema followed a long run on Avengers with the long-anticipated first Silver Surfer series. He subsequently succeeded Jack Kirby on Fantastic Four, Thor and other titles. By the time of his retirement in 1996, Buscema had penciled nearly every Marvel title — including his personal favorite, Conan the Barbarian.

The Intelligent Hulk teams with the Avengers and wars with Kang the Conqueror!Bruce Banner has overcome his angry other half and become the Intelligent Hulk, but will the combination of brains and brawn prove to be better than good ol’ “Hulk smash! Bill Mantlo and Sal Buscema will find out for us as they begin to explore the potential of comics’ man-monster’s many personalities. And who could be a better adversary for the Intelligent Hulk than the big-brained Leader? The Leader’s machinations will pull the Avengers into the fray and team Hulk and She-Hulk for the first time. Hulk will be ripped through time by Kang the Conqueror and go to war with M.O.D.O.K. and a resurgent A.I.M. before Banner falters in his struggle to keep the Hulk’s rage in check. Mantlo made the exploration and many personalities of the Hulk a mainstay of the series, and Buscema defined the look of the Hulk for a record-setting decade-long run. Includes a rare spin-off adventure inspired by Marvel’s first computer game!COLLECTING: Incredible Hulk (1968) #280-296, Incredible Hulk Annual (1968) #12, Questprobe (1984) #1

Bill Mantlo began his Marvel career on Deadly Hands of Kung Fu, in which he introduced White Tiger, one of the industry’s earliest Hispanic super heroes. Eventually writing stories for almost every Marvel title, he did some of his most fondly remembered work on Incredible Hulk and Spectacular Spider-Man. He also created Rocket Raccoon, launched Cloak & Dagger in a pair of miniseries and guided Alpha Flight through some of its most harrowing ordeals. Mantlo excelled at integrating licensed properties into the Marvel Universe, as demonstrated by Micronauts and Rom, both of which he wrote from start to finish. At DC, he wrote the Invasion miniseries for one of the company’s biggest crossover events.John Buscema (1927-2002) literally wrote the book on being a Marvel artist — namely, How To Draw Comics the Marvel Way — and few were better qualified. By the time of his retirement in 1996, Buscema had penciled nearly every Marvel title — including his personal favorite, Conan the Barbarian.Beginning as Stan Lee’s production assistant, Herb Trimpe (1939-2015) went on to pencil a seven-year run on Marvel mainstay Incredible Hulk — during which he debuted the future X-Man, Wolverine — as well as 1970s classics Marvel Team-Up, Shogun Warriors and Godzilla. He was equally prolific during the 1980s on Nick Fury, The ’Nam and G.I. Joe; the 1990s saw him illustrate Marvel’s First Family on Fantastic Four Unlimited. Trimpe’s war-story credits also include the introduction of the Phantom Eagle, the WWI aviator hero whose adventures were later chronicled by Garth Ennis.Few writers/editors influenced Marvel more than Mark Gruenwald (1953-1996). Famed for pioneering work on the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe and his magnum opus Squadron Supreme, he also wrote a hundred-plus-issue run of Captain America; multiple Marvel Two-in-One sagas; and several miniseries, including Contest of Champions, the first of Marvel’s multi-hero sagas. He explored the Marvel Universe’s ancient history in a series of What If? backup stories he also penciled.
