Through generations, there has always been a force of justice that agents of crime, chaos, and evil have contended with. Inspired by the fantastic sci-fi subgenre of steampunk, the Variant Play Arts KAI 'Timeless' series welcomes a new Batman to the fold. His Batsuit, with many design aspects inspired by turn of the century steam powered technology, offers a design that transcends time and space. Fine sculpting and paintwork, as well as careful consideration of the materials used, elevate the unique texture of steam-powered technology's functional beauty. For example, multiple gears and cogs can be seen through a transparent piece in the chest armor, and burnished bronze metallic color is used throughout. The technical machinery would not be out of place in an 1890s Batcave, and the gaslamp atmosphere evoked by the design is a perfect match for the Dark Knight. The angle of the beak opening, the joints in between the thighs and forelegs, and each talon can all be adjusted, allowing you to create dynamic poses such as a majestic chocobo leaping onto the battlefield. This mashup of Batman's classic silhouette with the beloved villains of his Rogues Gallery results in a never-before-seen design collaboration, and the debut figure for this line is Two-Face. The right half of his body resembles the classic Batman design, but the armor and suit are slightly melted and warped. On the left half, however, the color scheme and form are totally transformed, resulting in a Two-Face design applied to a Batman outline. A charred, scorched paint effect has been carefully reproduced, along with eyes made with transparent parts for a haunting expression, set in a visage of half-melted flesh. The figure includes an interchangeable grinning face and hand parts, so that Two-Face can be posed doing his signature coin toss. This figure's novel design hopes to give the best of both worlds, simultaneously heads and tails, for an unlikely but delightfully evil Two-Face action figure. (immagine) Categoria: Toys and models
