It all began with a series of twist-in-the-tail stories for the UK's beloved 2000AD, which ignited an enduring love for genre fiction.His prose works range from the beatnik neurosis-noir of Contract to the occult whodunnit A Serpent Uncoiled via various franchise and genre-transgressing titles. In 2016 he took a foray into experimental fiction with the e-novella Unusual Concentrations: a tale of coffee, crime and overhead conversations.He lives in Margate, regards sushi as part of the plotting process, and has the fluffiest of cats.Mike Dowling is the artist of SfSx, written by Tina Horn and published by Image, and the artist and co-creator of Unfollow, written by Rob Williams & published by Vertigo.He has also drawn Tie Fighter, Black Cat, Daredevil, Iron Man, and The Amazing Spider-Man for Marvel Comics.Other work includes Death Sentence written by Montynero and Devlin Waugh, Ichabod Azrael, Judge Dredd and Judge Anderson for 2000AD.

As the truth behind the creatures comes spilling out, Monday discovers that her own strange connection to the supernatural may be getting stronger—and more personal.

He's the winner of a GLAAD Media Award for his work on Star Wars: Doctor Aphra. Recent works include swamp-crime thriller The Voice Said Kill and weird-fi portal fantasy A Mischief Of Magpies. He lives by the seaside and is surprisingly good with a bow and arrow. Mike Dowling is a comic book artist drawing creator-owned, independent, and mainstream comics on both sides of the pond. Alongside working on Devlin Waugh, Judge Anderson, and Judge Dredd for 2000AD, Mike co-created the indie book Death Sentence with Monty Nero and then Unfollow with Rob Williams for Vertigo. He drew SFSX (Safe Sex) by Tina Horn for Image, and found a home at Marvel for some years, with stints on Alien, Amazing Spider-Man, Black Cat, and Daredevil amongst other titles. Recently he drew the comic adaptation of the first Witcher short story for Dark Horse.
