esempio: @author Stan Lee
esempio: @artist John Romita
Jr.
@cover copertinista: cerca solo articoli di questo
copertinista. Per esempio: @cover Alex
Ross
@artista, @editore, @titolo (mentre @cover rimane uguale!)
grammaticalmente simili (Man/Men ad esempio).
articoli presentanti negli ultimi 30 / 90 giorni mentre @mese a quelli
presentati nel mese in corso e @YEAR all'ultimo anno (inteso come "gli
ultimi 365 giorni).
codice a barre.
We are thrilled to bring you a second volume of Ploog goodness! This new, 352-page book will give an even more in-depth look at the career of Mike Ploog. Like the first volume, this volume will also be a 'Best of' selection of hundreds of pieces of art hand-chosen by the artist. Inside, you'll find more pages from Ploog's days working for Marvel Comics on titles such as 'Frankenstein,' 'Ghost Rider,' 'Man-Thing,' 'Planet of the Apes' and 'Werewolf By Night.' There's more concept art and storyboards from favorite Ploog films, such as 'The Dark Crystal,' 'John Carpenter's THE THING,' 'Little Shop of Horrors,' 'Lord of the Rings' and 'Wizards.' Also included will be a much expanded section dedicated to his paintings, and so much more! This is the perfect companion book to 'Volume One,' as well as also being a great stand-alone volume on Mike Ploog's work. It's packed full from cover to cover and will be a real treat for Ploogies everywhere. 'I was so touched by the success of the first book. The fact that the fans still like my work after all these years is very humbling,' said Ploog. 'A lot of time an artist worries that he might be forgotten if he can't continue to produce new work. So if you find out the opposite, well, I mean, it doesn't get any better than that.' 'This is why I've been an artist my entire life: For people to hopefully enjoy my work, to be taken into my world, to see things the way I see things.' He added with a smile, 'For better or for worse.' The limited, signed and numbered hardcover edition of 'The Art of Ploog: Volume Two' features an exclusive padded cover that reproduces Mike's painting, 'Hunting Tales,' which is an homage to his work on the film 'John Carpenter's THE THING!'
